The Big Day has been Ireland’s headline event for landscape photography since 2016 drawing a local and international audience with a stellar lineup of speakers.  We have been proud of our work in this regard, and also so grateful for the positive response we have got from the landscape photography community. This year we’re back working with some great people within the trade including Nikon, Conns Cameras, Kase Filters, and 360 DPI.

11:30 – 12:30 Peter Gordon – In A Different Light – Creating a Unique Perspective

Inspiration, thought process, and the technical details of how Peter’s latest project was created. A journey through the night in iconic Glendalough and the creation of a unique perspective.

The work, building on themes developed over 50 years, seeks to find the awe inspiring in that which is easily passed by and how, by looking at the micro, we might gain insight into the macro

15:15 – 16:45 Nick Page – Moment, Movement and Energy In Landscape Photography

Creating dynamic images with a sense of Moment Movement and Energy is often what separates good images from great images. In this presentation, Nick will talk about things to look for in the field, and how to inject a sense of energy into an image.
