Despite her young age Isabella Tabacchi is one of the best landscape photographers of her time and her evocative and iconic style is a must see. It’s really a unique chance to work with someone of international acclaim here in Ireland. Enjoy Ireland’s stunning Antrim coast and experience Isabella’s epic style with a full day of immersive shooting and 1 follow-up post-processing session by zoom.

Isabella Tabacchi is a Hasselblad Heroine, has been part of the Grand Jury of the Hasselblad Masters 2021, and received the title of Photographer of the Year in Moscow International Foto Awards (MIFA) and several other awards.

The workshop will be led by Isabella, where you will immerse yourself in her unique style, and guided by ExploreLight’s Peter Gordon.

We will spend 1 full day along the Antrim coast near Bushmills with a vast array of seascapes on our doorstep. This part of the trip is very much focused on the ocean with iconic locations like Giants Causeway and Dunluce Castle plus so many more. Peter has an intimate knowledge of the area and Isabella will be dispensing her unique take on the landscape.

Isabella and Peter will be hitting epic locations like this! 

The workshop begins Friday morning at 11am and ends at sunset around 8pm. We have space for a number of participants in the ExploreLight van but this workshop is self-drive in principle.

  • Charged and possibly spare batteries depending on your battery condition..have enough power.

  • We will be shooting both wide angles and intimate details so focal lengths from 17mm to 200mm will be of use.

  • Wide angle to telephoto lens of use

  • Tripod (essential)

  • Shutter cable release if possible but we can also use your timer if you don’t have a cable release.

  • Camera Manual (just in case)

  • Filters – Circular Polariser, ND’s and grad D’s will be of use

  • Notepad for making notes..

  • Rain gear is a good idea.

  • Boots or hiking shoes

  • Wellies

EASY – There are no long walks on this workshop with locations typically within 5 minutes of the car. All workshops require walking on uneven ground on beaches or lake edges for example. There is one location that requires going down some steep steps. The walk is short but the steps up are steep.
